1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our eSIM services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and eSIM services. The Service is provided by a company established in Turkey ("we," "us," or "our"), trading as Arel eSIM. Our legal business name is Arel eSIM. By purchasing or using our eSIM plans, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

Arel eSIM provides digital SIM card (eSIM) services that enable you to connect to mobile networks in various countries without a physical SIM card. Our services include:

  • eSIM plan activation and management
  • Access to mobile data networks in supported countries
  • Customer support services
  • Online account management

We offer various eSIM plans with different data allowances, validity periods, and coverage areas. Plan details, including coverage, data limits, and pricing, are clearly displayed before purchase.

3. Eligibility and Account

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
  • Have a device compatible with eSIM technology
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Purchase and Payment

When you purchase an eSIM plan:

  • All prices are displayed in your selected currency and are final unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment must be made at the time of purchase.
  • Paddle.com ("Paddle") is the Merchant of Record for all sales of eSIM plans made through our website. Paddle processes payments, issues invoices, and is responsible for the sale and supply of the digital products you purchase. Payment methods accepted include major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods offered at checkout.
  • Once payment is confirmed by Paddle, you will receive your eSIM activation details via email.

All eSIM plans are non-transferable and tied to the device on which they are installed. Plans cannot be shared between devices without purchasing a new plan for each device.

5. Referral Program and Arel Wallet

We may offer a referral program whereby you can earn credits ("Arel Wallet" or "gift balance") for referring new customers, and referees may receive a discount on their first purchase. The following terms apply:

  • Referrer bonus: eligible referrers may receive credits equivalent to 15% of the referee's qualifying purchase value. Referee discount: eligible referees may receive a 10% discount on their first qualifying purchase.
  • All referral bonuses and discounts are issued as digital credits (gift balance) that have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or withdrawn.
  • Credits may only be used toward the purchase of eSIM plans and related services within our platform (in-app purchases) and cannot be transferred to third parties or used for any other purpose.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program or the terms applicable to Arel Wallet at any time. Abuse of the referral program may result in forfeiture of credits and/or account suspension.

Any additional terms specific to the referral program or Arel Wallet will be displayed within the service or in separate programme terms.

6. eSIM Activation and Usage

eSIM plans are activated when:

  • You successfully install the eSIM profile on your compatible device
  • You are within the coverage area of your purchased plan
  • Your device connects to a local mobile network in the destination country or region

Activation of your eSIM begins when your device connects to a supported local network in the destination country or region (e.g. when you arrive and your device registers on the network). The validity period starts from the first such connection, not from the purchase date. Unused data does not carry over after the plan expires.

7. Coverage and Network Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee:

  • Continuous or uninterrupted network coverage in all areas
  • Specific network speeds or quality
  • Compatibility with all devices or network configurations

Network availability and quality may vary based on location, network congestion, and local infrastructure. Coverage information is provided as a guide and may change without notice.

8. Data Usage and Limits

Your eSIM plan includes a specific data allowance valid for a set period:

  • Data allowances cannot be exceeded; service will stop when the limit is reached
  • Unused data expires at the end of the validity period and cannot be carried over
  • You can purchase top-ups if you need additional data
  • Data usage is monitored and reported in your account dashboard

Fair use policies apply to prevent abuse of our services. Excessive usage that impacts other users may result in service restrictions.

9. Device Compatibility

It is your responsibility to ensure your device supports eSIM technology. We provide a list of compatible devices, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with all devices or all network configurations.

If your device does not support eSIM or cannot activate our service, you may be eligible for a refund per our refund policy. We recommend checking device compatibility before purchase.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services for:

  • Any illegal activities or purposes
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmitting malicious software, spam, or unauthorized communications
  • Attempting to circumvent technical restrictions or security measures
  • Reselling or redistributing eSIM services without authorization

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of service without refund.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Arel eSIM and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arel eSIM shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or network unavailability
  • Device incompatibility or damage
  • Third-party actions or network operator issues

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific eSIM plan in question.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
